The World of the Western Lands

The world of the Western Lands is a parallel world to our own. In this world, millions of years ago the ancient landmasses developed differently, as a result the whole history of this world is completely different..

Crossing between the two worlds, our own and the world of the Western Lands is possible. Throughout history there have been cases of people who either appeared from nowhere, like Kasper Hauser, or disappeared without explanation, like Benjamin Bathurst.

Crossing is not however easy, for a start all physical conditions must be the same, including factors such as ground level, temperature, and barometric pressure.

Nonetheless enough people have crossed over for whole societies to develop, for empires to grow and fall, and for tyrants to seek to build new empires out of the ruins of the old.
