Background to the Story

The story of Lady of Foxdale began in a small flat in Zürich in Switzerland. I was working there, and to occupy myself in the evenings I began to write a story. Just for my own pleasure of course, but as it grew I began to find it more and more interesting, and the story grew.

But what you read in the stories is not all the information about the Western Lands. To write the stories I found myself simultaneously writing notes about the history and the geography of the world. Then there were notes on languages, costumes and even such details as calendars and naming conventions.

Most of these I have collected, and made available on this site. Further information will be added as time goes by.

I hope that you enjoy reading this website, and also enjoy reading the book which you can download from ebAlliance. Some of my short stories are there as well. If you did enjoy reading them, or even if you didn't, please write and tell me. I'll try my best to answer, and maybe add some of the letters to these pages, (unless of course you specifically ask me not to).

Meantime, try my puzzle. It's just for fun, there's no prize, except the pleasure of winning.
